Are there limits besides credits?
Yes. Monthly usage limits also apply, so a task may pause even if you have credits. Your saved work stays available. Continue after the monthly reset or connect your own provider key.

These are spending limits, not extra charges or guaranteed numbers of completed paths. Extra credits add $0.20 each to the notes-and-tools allowance; they do not increase the research allowance.
How the allowance is counted
Research reserves $0.03 per model call, search $0.002, and video $0.40 per started 10-minute section. Failed or unconfirmed provider attempts can use this allowance even when credits are refunded. Generation preparation also counts toward notes and tools.
Can I use my own API key?
Yes. Add your OpenAI or Gemini key in Account. That provider bills you directly for supported tasks, instead of using Papyr credits and its provider allowance. Papyr rate limits and Papyr-funded search limits still apply.
Monthly usage limits apply to all plans. Check the quote before generating. Extra credits join your current month’s pool.

Can I try it before paying?
Yes. Create a free account with no card and try your two signup AI pages. Start with a short video or PDF, then upgrade when you need more credits or exports.
Is this a temporary price?
Yes—these are introductory rates. No end date or future price has been announced, and this is not a lifetime price lock. Your recurring amount and billing period are shown at checkout.
Does a learning path use my note credits?
Path research and planning use a separate monthly research allowance, with daily limits. They do not deduct visual-note credits. Making visual notes from a path is a separate action. If you connect your own OpenAI key, OpenAI bills you for path generation.
What happens with a long video or PDF?
Choose the section or chapters you need first. Video analysis costs 3 credits per started 10 minutes; creating illustrated notes costs extra. For PDFs, each generated chapter uses 1 credit on Learner or 2 on Pro. Review the quote before starting.
What happens when I reach a limit?
Your saved notes stay available. Learner and Pro members can buy extra credits. Monthly provider-spending limits also apply, so extra credits may not unlock every task. See the limits above, wait for the monthly reset, or use your own API key.
Can I switch plans or cancel?
Yes. Switch plans here while signed in. Cancel from Manage billing in Account; access continues until the end of the paid period. Extra credits join the current month’s pool.
