Papyr (trypapyr.com) helps you turn notes and documents into visual pages. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices.
What we collect
- Account data — email address and authentication identifiers when you sign in (magic link or GitHub).
- Your content — notes, PDFs, outlines, generated sketchnotes, and library pages you create.
- API keys (optional) — if you add an OpenAI key in Account, it is encrypted at rest and used only for your generations.
- Usage & billing — plan tier, credit usage, and payment records via Dodo Payments. We do not store full card numbers.
- Analytics — Google Analytics 4 and PostHog may collect anonymized usage data only if you accept analytics in the cookie banner.
- Support messages — text you send via Care.
How we use data
- Provide and improve Papyr.
- Authenticate you and keep your library private.
- Process subscriptions and meter credits.
- Diagnose errors and respond to Care requests.
- Understand aggregate usage via analytics.
Subprocessors
We use Supabase, OpenAI, Google (Gemini and Analytics), and Dodo Payments to operate the service. We do not sell personal data.
Retention
We keep data while your account is active. Request deletion via Care.
