Build a certification study plan from the official exam guide

Keep credential identity, exam objectives, teaching resources and readiness evidence separate.

Confirm the exact credential and version

Start on the certification provider’s website. Record the full exam name, version or code, guide date and objective list. Similar names can refer to different exams. Recheck the official page before booking; an old guide can describe a different scope.

Map the official objectives without inventing weights

Copy the detailed task list into a checklist. Use percentages only when the provider publishes them, and preserve the distinction between a domain weight and a task weight. Do not divide a domain percentage across its tasks and present the result as official.

Use the guide as a checklist, not the lesson

An exam blueprint tells you what may be assessed. It usually does not teach the skill. Pair tasks with provider documentation, tutorials or labs. For an architecture objective, practice choosing a design under stated security, cost, reliability and operational constraints.

Test decisions and explain trade-offs

A useful practice task asks you to choose between two plausible designs and explain why one fits the scenario. Record why the alternatives fail. A definition question can check vocabulary, but it is insufficient evidence that you can apply an architecture principle.

Keep readiness claims modest

Coverage, completed lessons and practice scores describe different things. None alone establishes that you will pass. Use fresh, representative practice and hands-on work to find gaps, and consult the provider’s exam policies.
